Spalding Sports Worldwide Taps Lee ‘The Blonde Bomber’ Brandon To Promote

Top-Flite XL 3000 And A Landmark Sampling Program

 

CHICOPEE, Mass.April 5, 2002The longest balls just got longer.  Spalding Sports Worldwide, Inc. announced today it has signed 2001 Women’s Long Drive Champion Lee ‘The Blonde Bomber’ Brandon to promote its Top-Flite XL 3000 line of golf balls.

 

Brandon, who won the championship with a drive of 291 yards and qualified in Sacramento in the District Qualifier for the finals with a booming drive of 319 yards and 12 inches, will embark on a 10-city media tour to promote Top-Flite’s XL 3000 sampling days, which are being staged at thousands of golf courses nationwide. While on the tour, Brandon will offer tips to help consumers get more distance off the tee and tap her fitness training experience to help consumers get physically ready for the upcoming golf season.

As part of its 2002 marketing platform, Spalding is offering consumers a chance to sample the Top-Flite XL 3000 line of golf balls, including: Super Long, Super Straight, Super Spin and Super Feel. Thousands of courses nationwide will be hosting the sampling events on April 20 and June 1.
